KHT EAI series heat accumulators are used for heating water for domestic needs, as they are equipped with a built-in upper heat exchanger made of stainless chrome-plated steel. They can be used together with solar collectors, heat pumps and various types of boilers (gas, electric, solid fuel). Most often they function as boilers in hot water supply systems. The heat exchanger is made of corrugated steel 0.3 mm thick (AISI 304) and is able to provide simultaneous connection to 6-18 water draw-off points. Due to their simple design, heat accumulators are affordable, while fully performing their functions.
Main characteristics of EAI series buffer tanks:
- the possibility of equipping with an electric heater;
- suitability for operation in closed and open systems;
- integrated heat exchanger that can be connected to solar collectors;
- 10 cm thick polyurethane foam thermal insulation layer;
- tanks with a volume of 350 to 2000 liters, which allows you to meet the needs of hot water supply of consumers;
- the ability to provide up to 18 connection points for hot water simultaneously;
- the possibility of connecting to various energy sources;
- functioning as a boiler in hot water supply systems;
- various options for pipe location;
- protection against the proliferation of dangerous bacteria thanks to the "fresh" water heating system;
- the absence of a magnesium anode, which makes the water suitable for drinking;
- the use of a corrugated heat exchanger helps to avoid the formation of scale, since with a sharp change in temperature, scale flakes off.
Thermal insulation options: The manufacturer offers two thermal insulation options: 60 mm thick (energy efficiency class E) and 100 mm thick (energy efficiency class C). Additionally, the tank can be equipped with a lower carbon steel heat exchanger.
