Heating boilers with a maximum water temperature of 95 °C and a working pressure of up to 0.2 MPa, with microprocessor control of the coolant temperature, forced adjustable air supply, and automated fuel supply to the combustion chamber (if necessary, switched to manual fuel loading mode) - are designed for heat supply to individual residential buildings and public utility facilities equipped with heating systems with forced (closed pressurized heating system) or natural (open heating system) coolant circulation.

How it works

Retra-4M boilers can operate in two modes: manual and automatic fuel loading. 

In the first mode, fuel (wood, coal, briquettes, etc.) is loaded through the loading hatch. The process of efficient fuel combustion in the furnace is achieved through the intensive supply of air around the perimeter of the chamber. This creates an “air cocoon” around the fuel. Gas that has not burned in the furnace due to a lack of air is burned thanks to the supply of secondary air. This ensures a high efficiency coefficient of up to 93%.

In the second mode, fuel is automatically loaded from the hopper by a screw conveyor (driven by a gear motor) to the pellet burner. Maximum fuel combustion efficiency in the pellet burner is ensured by air blowing, which is carried out by a fan. The operation of the screw conveyor and fan is controlled by a microprocessor temperature controller.

Upon special order, the boiler heat exchanger can be manufactured in a reinforced version with a working pressure of up to 0.6 MPa.

Control system for the Retra-4M solid fuel boiler

The boiler design provides for its operation together with an electronic control panel, a blower fan, and a screw drive.

The control system is based on an electronic regulator designed to maintain the set temperature of the heat carrier at the outlet of the solid fuel boiler, which is measured by a digital temperature sensor.

The principle of operation of the device is to supply fuel, control the fuel combustion process and coolant circulation by adjusting the speed of the air supply fans and supplying power to the screw drive and circulation pump.

How the automation works

During and after loading the required amount of fuel into the burner using the automatic system, the fan intensively blows air for a set time to achieve a stable combustion temperature. This cycle is repeated until the water temperature in the boiler rises to the base values set on the thermostat. After that, the automatic system switches to the combustion maintenance mode. When the temperature drops to the set minimum level (recommended: 45-55 °C), fuel is automatically loaded from the hopper again and the fan is turned on - the boiler cycle repeats again. When the temperature reaches the set maximum level (recommended: 85-90 °C), the automatic system shuts off the fuel supply and fan and switches to maintenance mode.

The TRIO boiler is equipped with a retort burner from a Polish manufacturer, which is controlled automatically by a controller. The boiler has an efficiency of 93%. It is highly efficient and reliable.
